2 years have gone, since i passed from the alleys of my beloved law school. Seasons have come and gone, people have come and gone and infact a lot of water has flown down d river Ganges, but d memoirs of law school have lived on in my heart. Those 5 years are easily d best days of my life.................. courtesy of my dearest buddies and friends, and to name a few............... Pappu, Chikki, Chetu, Mutton ki Dukaan, Kintu, Sid, Royla, Debu, Shawshank, Captain Jack, Button, Taplu, Tyagan, Kandil, Varsha, Gauri, Hassan Bhai, Shankar Bhai, Chhotu, Pulkesh and d list is endless......... but one person stands out from all others and he is is d heart and soul of my life.
My 5 years in one of the premier national law schools of India in Raipur (Hopefully, no one will again ask me d question as to where Raipur is!!!!!!!!!!) was a pot-pourri and khichri of emotions, joy, ecstacy, friendship, unlimted bakaar Raipuriya style wid loads of hau, bakaar, Poha- Jalebi and subah ki Chai wid our Sarkar and ofcourse wid a tinge of sorrow and dejection thrown in. I could not have asked for a better recipe for life!!!!!!!!!! Kabhi Kabhi padh bhi lete the, but those visits to d library or reading room where as frequent as our very own netas visiting the Lok Sabha or their own constituencies after getting elected!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a host of ppl to thank and speak about, but dis post is only for one person, who is my brother, mentor, and everything in life. He is persona personified and d most talented yet humble person one can ever cum across!!!!!!!!!! It's my Sandy Baba!!!!!!!!!!
Sandeep Agarwal: Sandeep aka Sandy Baba aka Mr. Perfect is the perfect embodiment of looks and talent. If not in law school, he would have seriously dented d careers of Dino and John!!!!!!!!! ( And dat is not a bakar!!!!!!!!!). His mere presence lights my life wid eternal happiness and serenity.
7 years back, when i first walked into the law school, i was overcome wid a lot of fear and anxiousness. New people, culture, environment, surroundings and how would i cope up??????/ As i sat pondering over dese questions in my hostel room, and was nearly in tears, a boy wid a lot of enthusiasim and energy entered into my room............... and he was full of life. "Hi, i am Sandeep, and i am from Raipur". This was the first line from this mesmerizing soul. His eyes had a glint, his enthusiasim unrivalled, his smile broad and his commitment to life seemed too absorbing. He had a charm and exuberance, which was simply awesome. As my fears vanished and i shook hands with this lad, i knew dat my life will never be d same and touchwood, am glad dat god gave me d greatest gift , which i could have ever asked for..........
The next 5 years wid him was a blast......... and a journey of a lifetime. Being d closest and best of buddies, there are innumerable memories, which just cannot be emoted in pen and paper. Late night bike rides, d Shanghai Rice wid Paneer Chilly at Chungfah, fultoo masti and bakaar 24*7 , ghastly PJ's penned by me and Sady Baba, whose often innocent targets were my buddies or Button and Taplu, d juice and lassi at Jaistambh Chowk, dose jokes, anectodes, mimicry sessions, irritating Silli in d class, planning for events and organizing dem, daily shopping for Kundru and Kanda for Sandy's home are just some spices and memories, which has shaped up my life and fills me wid much elan and joy and which will live wid me for d rest of my life.
Sandy Baba is a true all-rounder and apart from being a good student and human being , his main passion and love in life was, is and will always be Cricket. The best hitter of the cricket ball in our University, i had d double privilege of playing along-side wid him but in an administrative role, for i was the Coach cum Manager cum all other roles which made me the Lalit Modi of d team (The good thing is, i never made any controversy unlike Lalit Modi!!!!!!!!!!!!). He was the captain of our semester team and a key member of the University team. I still remember d final of the T-20 World Cup, where i, Sandy Baba, Kandil and Tyagan watched and den rejoiced after India won d World Cup. His joy and happiness knew no-bounds and his smiling face after d final ball of d match remain sketched in d alleys of my heart wid utter clarity.
It's been 2 years since i and Sandy Baba left d law school, but his friendship and company gives me d greatest pleasure in life and all d strength, i need to survive in this maddening world. Be as you are Sandy Baba and miss u lyk hellllll............ u rock dude.............. and tum ho toh gaata hai dil..........
i totally agree wid u anirudh bhaiya - Nitendra
